For oPtimal experience

None of this is required - only if you want the maximum possible visual experience...

1. Turn on images.

This is an image intensive site. If you're in a hurry now, bookmark it and come back when you can relax and enjoy yourself.

2. Make your window wide enough that you can see the entire width of the arrow image below.

(arrow is 768 pixels)

3. The background of this page should be very black.

If it's gray, turn down the brightness on your monitor.

You should (ideally) be able to see a different shade in each of the rectangles in the image below:

The left-most (100%) rectangle should be indistinguishable from the black background. Try turning up your "contrast" if some others are disappearing. If some other blocks blend together here and there, you may want to:

4. Set your system to view as many colors as you can without having the screen flicker.

5. Use a Web browser that supports Cascading Style Sheets.

Any browser will work fine for the most part, but will not show specified fonts and other page design features.
Among the dominant browsers, those that currently support CSS include Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and above, Netscape Navigator 4.0 (Communicator) and above. Many others also support this advancement, and the very latest versions coming out often have great improvements in this regard.
